Some of this foods are innocently consumed daily in large quantities without proper knowledge on their reversed effect on the body, more especially the eyes.

According to Recent Medical findings, this 4 food types are notoriously lined to eyesight dysfunction when consumed in excess.

1. First On The List Are Foods That Are High In Trans and Saturated Fat

Trans fat; this are found in your commercial baked products, biscuits, icecream,etc. While Saturated fats are found in animal-based foods like beef, pork, poultry, full-fat dairy products and eggs, tropical oils.This types of foods have been warned medically to be double trouble! And should only be taken moderately and less frequently, especially for adults. So watch out for this foods.


2. Next On The Food List, Are Foods High Salt Content

Do you know that high quantity of salt in the body can lead to a high blood pressure ?  I realized this when my mom got ill and was diagnosed. See when the blood pressure level in the human body increases, it affects the vision making it blurred and unclear and if not handle properly, could lead to damaging the eyes. This are some foods high in salt; salad dressings, pickles, cheeses, quick soups, canned vegetables, and table salt etc..


3. Foods High in Sugar and Starch. 

Alot of people already know the dangers involved in the regular intake of foods high in sugar.

The risk in the regular consumption of high sugar meals are adverse. Ranging from muscular degeneration to visual loss/blindness, diabetic and more.. Foods high in sugar have been known to cause more harm than good in the body. 


4. Caffeine.

This seemingly innocent food type have been recently linked with ( exfoliation glaucoma ). This a condition where abnormal amounts of protein get stored up in the eye structure system. People who consume three or more cups of caffeinated beverages daily are at the most risk of exfoliation glaucoma. And Glaucoma when not handle properly, in the long run can eventually lead to blindness. Types of food high in caffeine to watch out for include; Coffee, Energy drinks, Chocolate, Tea, Espresso, Black tea etc..

While we do not advise against this foods types, their high consumption rate can be hazardous overtime, not just to the eyes alone, but to the body generally.
