Chinedu Ikedieze was born on 12, December 1977, in Bende, Abia State, Nigeria to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ikedieze Ogbonna.


He attended the Institution of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu where he graduated with a degree in Theater Art.

From a chat with Saturday Beats, we also learnt that Chinedu Ikedieze had a younger brother who died of sickle cell anemia. The actor described that day as the saddest day of his life and recalled the close bond they both shared as brothers. Discribing his late brother as a free-spirited and funny person who always made people laugh wherever he went.

Chinedu Ikedieze is regarded as one of the richest actors in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $3.5 million. But dame fortune didnt hand him this feat on a platter of gold, As a matter of facts the veteran actor AKA small but Mighty, Aki, has experienced poverty.


The small but mighty actor disclose that before his journey to stardom in 2003, he actually had it rough financially. According to him, He his biggest fear in life was becoming poor, which was a ugly experience to reminisce, and that he would do everything legal to ensure he doesn’t witness such in his lifetime.

Chinedu Ikedieze began his acting career in Nollywood in 2000, starting with minor
roles in movies such as The First Nigerian Girl, But later rose to stardom after taking up His major role as a problem child, Aki and killed it in the comedy-drama film titled: Aki na Ukwa. Which he closely followed by more than a dozen other movies the same year including 2 Rats; The Tom and Jerry; School Dropouts; Lagos Boys; Charge and Bail, etc.


Ikedieze became a widely seeked actor in Nigerian for his comic roles which made him one of the Top 10 Funniest Nollywood Actors of All Time.


So far he has featured in more than a 100 movies and is currently working on tha television series titled The Johnson.

Speaking about his rise to fame, he spoke on how actors can sustain the status quo, Chinedu Ikedieze said celebrities are meant to be flashy because it’s all part of the showbiz. According to him, sustaining stardom requires being true to yourself and not trying to live the same kind of lifestyle as seen on movies especially if you can’t afford it.



In other not to crash. He advised fellow actors to always remain grounded and return to default mode after making such flashy appearances in movies or Red Carpet events wherever the occasion requires fabulousness.

Wife

On November 26, 2011 Chinedu Ikedieze got married to his lovely wife - Nneoma Nwaijah. The grand ceremony which was held in lagos, hosted distinguished guests including several movie stars, top politicians and the Governor of Abia State.



Both couples reportedly met in Lagos, during a movie shoot, Nneoma was the costume director. Their working together, sparked some kind of friendship which later transcended to intimacy. Their traditional wedding was held at his wife’s hometown in theIsala Mbano, Imo State.

A couple were once spotted on a vacation to Paris, France. Despite rumors of divorce as fake media has propagated and Ikedieze said there was nothing like that. Although the marriage has not produced offsprings yet, the prospect of having children is also a priority.


Height 

Despite a less than normal average height, Ikedieze still stands out on top of the entertainment industry. - His height is 1.29 m (4 ft 3 in).

He credited his rise to Nollywood limelight to late Chukwuka Emelionwu, (a.k.a Kasvid), the popular marketer and producer of the blockbuster movie Aki na Ukwa.

The Nollywood actor recently visited Miami, Florida - 2018, precisely on his special recognition as an international actor.
On his IG page, he thanked Miami-Dade, the country office of the Mayor and the county commissioners for honoring his presence in the city
