Mohbad case: Naira Marley and Sam Larry finally released

On November 17, 2023, Naira Marley (Azeez Fashola) and his business associate, Sam Larry (Balogun Samson), were released by the Lagos Police Command. The release followed the duo meeting their bail conditions, as confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on Friday.

The bail conditions, set by a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court on November 6, was the sum of N20 million and three responsible sureties. Also as part of the conditions, Mr.Naira Marley and associate Sam Larry must surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

Their arrest was linked to an investigation into the death of Singer Mohbad, sparked by online videos showing assault against the late singer.
